Vintage 1950s Men’s Suit Subtle Brown Check Wool Size S M
This is a classic vintage 1950s men’s suit dating to the late 50s, possibly very early 60s. The jacket is single-breasted with notched lapels, padded shoulders, and a straight, slightly elongated cut. It has jetted side pockets and a chest pocket.
The trousers are high-waisted with a pleated front and close with a metal zipper.. The pant leg tapers to a turned cuff.
Retailer’s label: Max Beauvais (Limited), 355 St. James Street W., Montreal. Max Beauvais was founded in 1898 and was a well known Montreal haberdashery.

Sizing: There is no size tag as this was most likely custom tailored. Although it should fit a small to medium size (US size 36 to maybe 38), please refer to the measurements below for best fit.
