Vintage 1950s Leopard Print Coat Faux Fur Acrylic Pile Sz M

This is a vintage faux fur 1950s leopard print coat.  This 1950s leopard print coat has a solid black rounded shawl collar that can be worn up or down (see photos).  The coat closes with three plastic buttons and there is a diagonal pocket built into either side.  The sleeves are full length and have solid black cuffs.  The coat is lined in brown satin that is backed with cotton muslin.  The faux fur is backed with a sponge material.  It is made in a short, car coat length.

Age: 1950s, possibly early 60s

Label: No label, but definitely manufactured

Material: Acrylic pile

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1950s leopard print coat should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of fabric into account:

Shoulders:  14” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam, but shoulder cap would fit into the top of the sleeve

Sleeves:  25 1/2” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam:  18”

Bust: 46” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 46” around

Bottom:  50” around

Overall length: 31”, measured flat

Condition:  This 1950s leopard print coat is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining.
