Vintage 1950s Handbag Suede-Finish w Gilt Floral Clasp Charmaine Montreal

This is a vintage 1950s handbag by Charmaine of Montreal, dating to the 1950s. The purse features a wide sculptural silhouette with a softly curved body covered in a suede-finish fabric over a structured frame.

The focal point is the large brushed gold-tone oval clasp engraved with delicate floral motifs. The interior is lined in black satin fabric and includes a zippered pocket marked “Charmaine – Montreal.” on one side and a slip pocket on the other.
