This is a ladies’ dressing gown/lounging robe made in a 50s abstract patterned cotton flannel fabric. The pattern is in green against a black background and the motif is a solid colour with “shadow” around it. As mentioned, this robe dates to the 1950s and has a high set notched collar and lapels, a four button double breasted closure and a patch pocket at the right side. It is cut with a flare to the hemline and made in a mid-calf length (depending on one’s height). It cinches at the waist with the aid of a matching sash belt. The robe is unlined. Age: 1970s

Hips: 44” around, meant to fall loosely\

Condition: It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, holes, repairs, staining or odour.
