Vintage 1950s Chinoiserie Fabric Cotton Linen 196" L x 57” W

This vintage 1950s Chinoiserie fabric features a repeating scenic motif consisting of pagodas, weeping willows, bridges, and figures set in an idealized Asian landscape. The pattern is rendered in a mid-1950s colour palette of red, chartreuse, turquoise, slate grey, and soft blue against a natural linen-tone ground.

The fabric is in a mid-weight and has a lightly textured weave typical of 1950s cotton-linen union cloths used for draperies. The edges show the original printer’s colour registration dots, indicating a quality screen-printed production from this period.
