Vintage 1950s Chinese Embroidered Silk Robe Kimono Size M
This vintage 1950s Chinese embroidered silk robe features hand-embroidered decoration with traditional motifs, including floral designs, scrollwork, and figural medallions depicting women in classical attire. The robe is made from bright blue silk satin and finished with contrasting ivory satin borders and yellow frog closures. Cut with wide sleeves and side slits, it has a loose, easy silhouette typical of mid-20th-century export garments.
The silk embroidery is richly detailed and applied by hand. The inner lining is a plain blue silk, also consistent with robes produced for Western export during the mid-century period.
