Vintage 1950s Brocade Coat Velvet Tapestry Floral Ladies L

This is a fabulous vintage 1950s brocade coat featuring a raised woven velvet tapestry fabric in tones of red, green, brown, yellow, orange and brown against a pattern woven black background fabric. This 1950s brocade coat has a small collar and closes with a large matching button at the centre neck and with a loop and button under the left collar.  The coat is cut with a flare through the body to the hemline so that the coat falls in drapes and it is made in a below-the-knee length.  It has above-the-wrist length raglan style sleeves and there is a vertical pocket built into either side.  The coat is lined with a black viscose fabric.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1950s brocade coat should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit taking the style of the garment into account:

Shoulders:  17” estimated due to raglan sleeves

Sleeves:  20 1/2” from the estimated shoulder, 29” from the mid-neck to the cuff edge

Sleeve Inseam:  15” 

Bust: 48” around 

Waist: 52” around

Bottom:  68” around

Length: 38”

Condition:  This 1950s brocade coat is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains, odour or other defect  - this looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the years.
