This is a fabulous evening coat made of alternating vertical panels of heavy black silk and grosgrain. This coat came from the estate of a lady who owned a lot of 50s era French couturier pieces. Although there is no label on this piece, the quality of it is obvious and it must have been made by a very good maker. The panels widen down the length of the coat, giving the coat its fabulous form. The coat has ¾ length raglan sleeves and is fully lined in purple taffeta. This is really an exceptional evening coat.
There is no label.
