Vintage 1940s Day Dress Cocktail Glass Novelty Print Sz M L

This is a 1940s day dress made of a sheer blue rayon jersey that is silk screen printed with a cocktail glass pattern.  The pattern is printed in tones of pink, turquoise and white.  This 1940s day dress has padded shoulders, short sleeves, a V neckline and a small collar.  It closes with three buttons down the bodice.  It has a defined waistline and loops for a belt, but no belt is provided.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1940s day dress, and although this should fit a medium to large size depending on preference for looseness, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the dress into account:

Shoulders:  15 1/2” across the shoulder seams

Sleeves:  10” from the shoulder seam

Bust:  42” around, estimated - difficult to measure due to the cut of the sleeve, but should fit loosely 

Waist:  32” around, should be cinched with a belt

Hips  42” around, should fall loosely

Length:  43”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This 1940s day dress is in very good condition - there are two tiny pinhead sized holes at the lower back of the skirt, noticeable only when inspecting the dress with a light behind it, really nothing.  Otherwise, this dress is in great shape.
