This is a wonderful vintage embroidered “appliqué”, probably meant to be used to decorate a cushion/pillow.  The piece features two birds, I believe swallows, amongst branches and fruit.  The piece measures 19 1/2” by 12”.  It is in very good condition - a tiny bit of black edge missing at the bottom (see photo), very minor, and otherwise, intact without wear or staining.  This would be a great piece to use for a cushion or any other item that would be suitable - wonderful vintage embroidery!
