This is an exquisite pair of 1930s Chinese embroidered silk pyjamas. There is no label except for a dry cleaner’s label stating Lakeside Cleaners, but these would have been produced in China for export. These 1930s Chinese embroidered silk pyjamas truly appear to have never been worn so perhaps they were brought in to be pressed only. The embroidery is really lovely featuring a lady and a pagoda with lotus blossoms in a pool and flowers all around. The pants repeat the same motif. The jacket closes with four tiny frog closures. The pants have a drawstring. The jacket is fully lined in a thin black silk.
Please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping in mind the measurements appear to be quite large but these 1930s Chinese embroidered silk pyjamassupposed to fall loosely over the body, it is not a fitted style.
