This is a 1930s era British school boy’s striped jacket sold by the CWS - the Co-operative Wholesale Society under their “Society Wear” brand. The CWS was a British movement with roots dating to 1844, but officially branded the Co-operative Wholesale Society in 1872, with the aim of lowering prices through bulk purchases by organized consumer groups. This jacket is made in blue, black and yellow stripes and comes with a solid blue Tootal rayon tie - I think that the tie is later than the jacket.
Label: CWS Society Wear
