Vintage 1920s Lemonade Pitcher 80 oz Blue Glass Japanese

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a vintage 1920s lemonade pitcher, hand-blown and molded, dating, most likely, to the 1920s era. The pitcher is made of bright aqua blue glass with an applied handle. It is decorated with hand-painted enamel floral sprays in yellow, white, orange, and green, accented with raised dot patterns and finished with gilt banding at the rim and collar. Under ultraviolet light, the glass slightly fluoresces green — a characteristic sometimes seen in Japanese export formulas of this period, though not conclusive on its own.
The form and decoration are consistent with Japanese export wares made during the 1920s–1930s in imitation of Bohemian styles. The presence of fluorescence eliminates European manufacture and, although Fenton made similar glass, this pitcher would appear to be Japanese rather than American, although I can’t be positive.
Origin
Most likely Japan, export production, c. 1920s–1930s, in the Bohemian style.
