This is a fabulous hand beaded dress panel dating to the 1920s that I don’t believe was never used.  This would have been the front of a dress - all they would have done was add a back panel and an under slip.  The back panel could be plain black chiffon, but probably originally would have been a matching panel.  This panel is made of silk chiffon with clear rhinestones and white and silver grey beads arranged in an art deco design.  It is in very good condition - there are a few beads missing in a few places (see last close-up photo for an example), but this is quite minor. 

Size: 13 3/4” across the shoulders, 12 1/2” across the bust, 19 1/2” across the bottom and 42” in length.

This is a wonderful piece, almost like a work of art - great panel to incorporate into a finished dress, gorgeous!
