This authentic vintage Ted Lapidus Paris belted jacket dates to the early 1970s and was produced under the Exclusive Boutique label in France. The jacket features classic Ted Lapidus design elements including strong tailoring, a wide collar, epaulettes, bold contrast topstitching, and a belted safari-inspired silhouette that reflects the designer’s military and mod influences of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

The jacket is made from a vivid orangey red wool and is fully lined in matching red satin acetate. Inside is the Ted Lapidus signature chain medallion, a detail used on many of his boutique and higher-end ready-to-wear pieces during this period.
