This is a blended cashmere mink jacket made in Italy for the Phergus Paris brand name.  It doesn’t appear to be a well-known brand, but it does appear to have been a brand of exceptional quality.  From what I can tell, the brand name belonged to a parent company by the name of Aetos Chrysae (Joel Varjacques), which has a men’s store called Olden located at 189 St Honoré in Paris, the rue St Honoré being where all of the high end shops are.  The brand Phergus was established in 1994 and retired in 2014. The Olden store sells Brioni and d’Avenza, so Phergus was competing against those highly regarded brands.  This blended cashmere mink jacket is made in a classic style with medium width notched lapels, two button closure, four button cuffs, a flapped pocket at either side, a chest pocket and a flap vent at the back.  It is fully lined in Cupro, which is a type of rayon that is made of regenerated cellulose fibres from cotton waste.

Fabric:  70% cashmere / 30% vison (mink).  This cashmere mink jacket features the softest fabric that I’ve ever handled.  Beautiful finish, this is very luxurious.

Colour:  Tan beige, not a tone normally seen, very classy

Sizing: The sizing on the content label of this cashmere mink jacket reads European size 50, which should be equivalent to a US size 40, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of this cashmere mink jacket into account:

Shoulders:  19” across, from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  24 1/2” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  16 1/2”

Chest: 44” around 

Waist: 42” around

Length: 30”, measured flat

Condition:  This cashmere mink jacket is in beautiful condition with no signs of wear, tear, stains or odours - this looks like it saw very little use.  The fabric has a beautiful finish to it - this is very clean.

Excellent quality fabric - one rarely sees 30% mink blended with cashmere - beautiful cashmere mink jacket!
