Large Vintage 1950s French Actress Photograph Pascale Petit Photo by Sam Levin 15.25 x 19.5

This is a wonderful large photo of Pascale Petit, a French actress active during the late 50s, 60s and 70s. She began her career in film in 1956 and was considered to be a rival to Brigitte Bardot. Her beauty is quite obvious in this photo, which was taken by celebrity photographer Sam Levin. The photo is signed in the lower left hand corner by Levin and I believe that it dates to the late 50s. It is an original photographic print, probably used as a publicity piece. It is framed under glass in a heavy wood frame. The photo itself measures 15 1/4 by 19 1/2 while the frame measures 18 1/2 by 22 5/8. It weighs 4 lbs and 3 oz.. The photo is in very good condition - a bit of a bluish scuff near Levins signature, but otherwise in great shape, well maintained by being under glass all these years. The wood frame has some scratching and scuffing. This is a beautiful image - wonderful acquisition for a fan......
