Eskandar Tunic Shirt Grey Cashmere Silk Blend England Size 2

This is a pre-owned Eskandar tunic or long shirt made in England of grey 93% cashmere and 7% silk. Although it button’s to the right, which indicates a men’s garment, these Eskandar tunics can also be worn by women as a dress.  Eskandar Nabavi established his brand during the 1990s, and found success when Neiman Marcus starting selling the line in the year 2000.  Eskandar discontinued menswear in 2008 due to the economic crisis - I think that they endeavoured to re-introduce a men’s line in 2015, but I don’t believe that they are producing menswear today.  This Eskandar tunic is made in a long loose fitting style - it has a narrow collar with a nine button front and dropped shoulders, so that the seam sits on the upper arm. There is a 15 1/2” slit at either bottom side and the sleeves have a single button closure cuff.  It is unlined.

Sizing: Size 2 is indicated on the label and although this Eskandar tunic should fit a range of sizes, please rely on the following measurements for fit (please take the loose fitting style of the garment into consideration):

Shoulders:  35” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam - note that the seams sit on the upper arm

Sleeves:  16 1/2” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam - 34” from the mid-neck

Sleeve inseam: 15 1/4”

Chest: 73” around, taken under the arms, meant to be loose/oversized - 36 1/2” across pit-to-pit

Waist:  72 1/2” around, meant to fall loosely

Overall length: 40”, measured flat

Condition: Pre-owned, but it is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour - this Eskandar tunic looks to have seen very little use.
