Dewar’s Special Scotch Whisky Jug Wade Regicor England 5” Pub Water Pitcher

This is a vintage advertising Dewar’s Special Scotch Whisky jug produced by Wade Regicor of England. The jug features black transfer lettering reading “Dewar’s Special” Scotch Whisky along with the Highlander figure to the reverse. The glaze is a soft pale yellow exterior with a white interior and black rim line.

The base is marked Wade Regicor London England. Wade produced numerous pub and bar advertising wares for whisky houses during the mid-20th century.  The Regicor stamp was used primarily from 1957 until 1966.  This Dewar’s Special example is not commonly seen, especially in the all-black text version
