Clarice Cliff Carp Fish Sauce Boat Set with Underplate and Spoon

A highly collectible Clarice Cliff carp fish sauce boat set, made by Newport Pottery Co., England. This complete three-piece set includes the fish-form sauce boat, matching underplate, and original spoon — an unusual find together.

The handle is formed as a brightly painted carp, with blue, green, pink and ochre hand-painted scale detailing. The design is echoed on both the underplate and spoon handle, giving the full set a wonderful unified Art Deco appearance.
