Art Deco Walther Vaseline Glass Arabella Float Fisch Bowl

This is a wonderful art deco Walther vaseline glass float bowl that would have originally held the Arabella figural flower frog.  Walther and Sohne was a German manufacturer of pressed glass.  The bowl measures 10 1/4” in diameter and has a height of about 2”.  The glass is in a yellowish light green colour that glows strongly under a UV (ultraviolet) light.  The bowl is decorated with raised images of fish.  My understanding is that the flower frog and bowl was originally produced from 1934 until 1939 and then made again shortly after WWII.   This Walther & Sohne vaseline glass float bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or pronounced wear.  Great if you need a match to the Arabella flower frog or want to add to a vaseline glass collection!
