This is a 9 karat Victorian gold button hook.  The button hook is marked “9/375” on the top ring (see close-up photo).  It is part of a collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector.  The buttonhook is doll sized, measuring 2” in length - it weighs 2 grams.  It probably was meant to be attached to a chatelaine and used for blouse buttons, maybe gloves, but would be cute to pose with a Victorian doll.  It is in excellent condition.
