Co., which was a direct competitor to the Singer Sewing Machine Co. The litho on the paper fan shows a New Williams machine. Text on the fan reads The New Williams Sewing Machine Made in Canada Light and Easy Running Adjustable Hardened Steel Parts Simple in Construction Ball Bearing Stand Most Highly Finished Fully Guaranteed The Most Perfect Sewing Machine Ever Made The Williams Mfg. Co., Limited, Montreal, Can.. In fine print below is written Toronto Litho Co. Ltd. The fan measures 6 7/8 by 12 3/4, including its wood handle. It is in very good condition except for some yellowish staining to the upper right - otherwise, this has been very well preserved.
