This is a beautiful Northwood Paneled Holly opalescent glass pitcher in the much sought after blue colour. This Northwood Paneled Holly opalescent glass pitcher is finished with gold decoration highlighting the holly leaves and berries. It features a scalloped rim, raised paneled design, and a star and diamond motif on the base.
The piece measures 8 1/8 inches in height and has a sturdy applied handle. The pitcher displays well with its striking turquoise-blue colouring and opalescent shading toward the rim. Northwood produced the Paneled Holly pattern circa 1905, and pieces with opalescent colouring and gold trim are particularly collectible.

Condition: This Northwood Paneled Holly opalescent glass pitcher is in very good condition with some expected wear to the gold decoration - for a piece of this age, the amount of gold still present is very good. One greenish surface mark on the handle (shown) that I think is under the surface. No cracks or chips.
