This is an antique glove button hook that is unmarked but that I believe is Scottish silver set with a citrine stone in its top.  The stone is well set with multiple prongs and the silver is finely worked.  This antique glove button hook is part of the collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. It measures 2 3/4” in length and weighs 6.2 grams.  These smaller button hooks were used for gloves, dress buttons, sleeves or shirt collars and are generally called glove hooks.  It is in very good condition with no pronounced defect.
