Antique Glass Epergne Pink Opalescent w Ruffled Edge

This striking antique glass epergne features a ruffled trumpet vase rising from a large matching opalescent glass bowl (note the photo with lighting behind the vase showing the gold-like appearance of the glass). Both the vase and the bowl are made of a clear-to-pink opalescent glass with a diamond pattern and deeply ruffled edge, mounted on an ornate cast metal stand with decorative relief. The fluted vase is removable and fits into a pierced metal holder at the centre of the bowl.

This antique glass epergne stands 13 1/2 inches high. The bowl measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter.

Material: Opalescent art glass and cast metal
Colour: Pink, white, and silver-toned metal
Condition: Glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. One side of the metal vase holder appears to be broken at the top (see last two close-up photos) - the vase may tend to tilt as a result but a bit of putty or even folded paper will help support it. A floating ring around the base of the trumpet appears original, though its purpose is unclear..
