This is a wonderful vintage silk blended gold lamé jacket made by Louis Feraud Paris. It has a narrow stand-up collar that turns to form narrow lapels. The jacket has no closures. The long sleeves have button closures, the buttons being covered in gold lamé. There is an extra button affixed to the content label. The jacket is trimmed in black braid.
Age: late 1980s / early 1990s. Label states “Made in Western Germany” - German re-unification was in 1990, so the use of Western Germany would have been discontinued by then.
Label: Louis Feraud Paris. Louis Feraud (1920-1999) opened his first boutique in Cannes, France in 1950. He established his couture house in Paris in 1955 and by 1957 was dressing the Parisian elite, designing many of the outfits used by Brigitte Bardot in her movies. He showed his first collection in 1958.

Sizing: French size 40 is indicated, which should fit a medium size as it is equivalent to a US size 10 - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Condition:
It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. This jacket looks like it saw little use.
This is a very glittery jacket, fabulous piece to dress up a black dress - very nice quality by a very good Paris fashion house.
