1980s Vintage Courreges Dress Sequinned Black Polyester 42

This is a 1980s vintage Courreges dress made in France.  This Courreges dress is made in black with a black sequins down both the front and back.  Andre Courreges, of course, made his name during the 1960s, when he offered avant garde, space age influenced designs.  This Courreges dress dress has a sweetheart neckline, wrist length sleeves, and is made in a sheath style in a knee length.  It does up with a zipper at the back and is fully lined in a black polyester fabric.

Sizing: French size 42 is indicated on this Courreges dress which should be equivalent to a US size 12 (large), but please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  15” between the seams

Sleeves:  22 1/2” from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve

Bust:  39 1/2” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  36” around

Hips:  40” around

Hemline:  49” around

Length:  39”, measured flat

Condition: It is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours.  This Courreges dress looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.
