This is a 1970s vintage Nina Ricci Haute Boutique Paris two piece dress ensemble consisting of a top / blouse and skirt with matching sash belt. The vintage Nina Ricci top has padded shoulders, a jewel neckline with turned collar and has a puff at the top of the elbow length sleeves. It does up at the back with a nylon zipper and hooks and eyes at the back neck. The skirt to this vintage Nina Ricci ensemble is made in a below-the-knee length and closes at the back waist with a snap and hook and eye as well as a nylon zipper at the back.
Fabric: 100% silk in a striped pattern - the stripes are puckered like seersucker. The lining on this vintage Nina Ricci ensemble is made of 47% rhodia and 43% bemberg.
Colour: This vintage Nina Ricci ensemble has a white three leaf clover pattern on a red background
Sizing: French size 38 is indicated on this 1970s Nina Ricci ensemble, which is approximately a US size 8. Although this vintage Nina Ricci top should fit a a medium size, the skirt waist is small, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Nina Ricci founded her fashion house in 1932 at the age of 50. She retired from designing during the early 1950s and Jules Francois Crahay became chief designer from 1954 until 1963. When Crahay left for Lanvin in 1963, Gerard Pipart became chief designer and remained so until 1998. The House of Ricci has maintained a reputation over the years for high quality classic clothing.
