1960s Vintage Black Velvet Coat Lydia Sperlich Rainmaster M
$95.00
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a wonderful 1960s vintage black velvet coat designed by Lydia Sperlich for Rainmaster. This vintage black velvet coat does up with two snaps, one at the neckline and the other behind the bottom faux button. There are two decorative woven buttons, each with a faux buttonhole. The coat has a rounded collar, a satin trimmed jetted pocket built into either side and has 3/4 length sleeves. That sleeve length was popular during the 1950s into the 1960s when women would wear long gloves and would want to show them off. The interior of the coat is lined in a black satin fabric.
Label: Lydia Sperlich Designs for Rain Master. Rainmaster was a trademark of Sport Togs of Canada.
