Vintage 1960s Men’s Suit British Invasion Era Tailoring Blue Venetian Satin Faced Wool

$110.00

This is a vintage early to mid-1960s men’s suit in a deep blue satin-faced Venetian wool, retailed by Lavoie et Fils of Haute-Rive, Quebec. Dating to approximately 1962–1965, the suit reflects the streamlined tailoring of the British Invasion era, when narrower lapels and a cleaner silhouette began to modernise traditional menswear.

The jacket features a classic three-button front, narrow lapels, and a gently shaped waist, offering a balanced silhouette that bridges conservative tailoring and early mod influence. The trousers are flat-front with a permanently creased leg, maintaining a sharp, structured line typical of the period.

The Venetian wool fabric has a subtle satin finish, giving the suit a soft sheen under light and elevating it beyond standard suiting wool. This is a refined, wearable example of mid-century tailoring that integrates easily into a modern wardrobe.

No other major issues affecting overall wearability and one could always have the holes invisible mended if desired. Price reflects the defects
