1950s Vintage English Hunting Tailcoat Moss Bros & Co Size M

This striking vintage English hunting tailcoat was made by Moss Bros & Co. Ltd of Covent Garden, London, outfitters to the British gentry since the 19th century. Tailored in scarlet wool with royal blue wool facings and brass buttons, this vintage English hunting tailcoat features a sharply cut front, long split tails, and traditional back button details. The interior is fully lined in scarlet quilted silk with cream linings through the sleeves.

Condition: This vintage English hunting tailcoat is in very good condition with the exception of two/three small holes at the cuff of the right sleeve and some minor staining to the interior pocket area (see last two close-up photos). The tailcoat was just recently dry cleaned and is structurally sound and presents beautifully.

Despite the holes at the cuff, this vintage English hunting tailcoat is quite striking - excellent British tailoring, exceptional quality!
