1930s Dress Floral Print Silk Chiffon

A vintage 30s dress made of floral printed silk chiffon. The dress is styled in a mid-calf length with a flounce accenting the bias of the skirt. It has a defined waist and loops for a belt, but no belt is supplied. The dress has a chiffon capelet that covers the shoulders and upper arms. The neckline is a medium depth V shape, both at the front and back, and the front is decorated with an apple green crepe bow. The chiffon is printed with a green floral pattern with brown leaves. It has its own peach/pink silk lining and slip. The dress has no openings and simply fits over the head.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but the dress should fit a small to medium size - please rely on the following measurements for fit and take into consideration that the dress has to slip over the head:

Bust: 35" around, taken under the arms

Waist: 29" around uncinched

Hips: 35" around (take note that the skirt is bias cut)

Length: 49"

Condition:  The dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odors - the only damage is a tiny hole and a tear to the silk slip (see 2nd to last close-up photo). This would be easy to repair and does not show in any case. Beautiful quality fabric and lovely color - this is a gorgeous 30s period dress.
