This is a vintage 1930s art deco dressing gown or mens robe featuring a wonderful art deco woven pattern consisting of an irregular zigzag pattern. This art deco dressing gown is made in a brown colour with contrasting tan brown linear pattern. The collar and cuffs are in black satin with red trim while the two side pockets and chest pocket are similarly trimmed. It closes with a matching belt with tassel ends. The pocket is monogrammed in red with the initials RC. It is in unlined.

Material: I’m not sure but it is a quality fabric, possibly silk crepe faille or a silk blend
Sizing: This art deco dressing gown should fit a man who fits a medium size, but the sleeves are quite short. This was custom made, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 16” across shoulder/sleeve seam-to-shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeves: 23” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeve Inseam: 15” long
Chest: 44”, taken under the arms and depending on overlap
Waist: 43”, but meant to be cinched with belt
Overall length: 497"
Condition: This art deco dressing gown is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling, staining, odour or other noted defect - this has been well preserved over the last 90 or so years.
