Poppy's Vintage item came beautifully wrapped in black and red tissue matching the black velvet with red rhinestone pillbox I purchased. A personal note thanked me for my purchase. The 65 year old hat is in immaculate condition. It feels like a gift from heaven. The designer, my mom, died 35 years ago but I remember the workrooms, the jars where the stones were stored by a French assistant named Colette who also owned a pet monkey she brought once a year.
