Pair of antique Bohemian hand painted white glass vases with purple floral decoration

Antique Bohemian Hand Painted White Glass Vases Pair Opalescent Milk Glass Floral Enamel c.1910

$165.00

This matching pair of antique hand-painted art glass vases dates from approximately 1905–1915 and was likely produced in the renowned Bohemian glassmaking region of what is now the Czech Republic.

Each vase is formed from opaque white glass with a very subtle opalescent quality that becomes visible when held to the light. The bodies are richly decorated by hand with large violet-purple flowers emerging from woven baskets, accented by green foliage and delicate enamel details. Raised gilded outlines highlight the floral decoration, while the striking turquoise-blue shaded necks provide a vivid contrast to the soft white glass.

The combination of hand-painted enamels, opalescent white glass, and colourful floral decoration is characteristic of decorative Bohemian glass produced during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. These vases display beautifully both individually and as a matching pair.
