Alfred Fiandaca Couture Silk Chiffon Palazzo Jumpsuit Gown – Grecian Halter Evening Dress

This dramatic vintage one-piece evening couture jumpsuit gown by Alfred Fiandaca combines the fluid elegance of a Grecian evening dress with the glamour of a palazzo silhouette. The garment is constructed from finely pleated beige silk chiffon layered over a soft pink silk base, creating a luminous blush tone that shifts beautifully with movement and light.  The interior is hand sewn and finished.

The design features a plunging halter neckline, open back, flowing wide palazzo legs, and sweeping chiffon side panels that create the illusion of a full-length gown when worn. The waist is accented with an elaborate rhinestone Greek key motif belt set with clear and deep ruby-coloured stones, lending the piece a striking 1960s glamour while maintaining the refined sophistication Fiandaca was known for.

Alfred Fiandaca (1940–2013) was an acclaimed American couture designer celebrated for dressing First Ladies, celebrities, and socialites including Nancy Reagan, Joan Collins, Cher, Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, Raquel Welch and Susan Lucci. In 1976, he dressed Louise Fletcher when she accepted the Oscar for her performance in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.  He was especially known for his lavish eveningwear blending theatrical glamour with couture craftsmanship.

No size indicated as it was mostly likely custom made. Due to the halter open-back construction, the bust is difficult to measure precisely, but it likely best fits approximately a 32"–34" bust. Please refer to measurements below.

Leg inseam: 30".
Top of halter to crotch: 34", measured flat.
Overall length: approximately 64" measured flat, though naturally shorter once worn on the body.

Condition:
Presents beautifully overall. There are a couple of stains to the pink silk underlayer on the lower right leg, visible in the close-up photographs. The overlying beige silk chiffon softens and partially veils the stains, making them unobtrusive when worn. Gentle age-related wear consistent with a delicate vintage silk garment may be present.
