This is a men’s vintage NWT acrylic cardigan, unused and still with its original hang tag.  It is made with raglan sleeves, a squared collar, diagonal side pockets and a zippered front.    

Age:  most likely early 1970s 

Colour:  Camel tone of beige

Label: Champion 100% Acrylic Made in China.  This is the Chinese Champion brand, popular during the 1960s and 70s, not to be confused with the American sportswear brand.  Champion produced primarily shirts and knitwear.

Hang tag:  Champion Made in China / “The Nicest Thing You Can Say About Knitwear”

Sizing: Size M is indicated and although this vintage NWT acrylic cardigan should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  17” across, estimated due to the raglan sleeve

Sleeves:  27” long from the estimated shoulder with the cuffs unturned

Sleeve Inseam:  20” with the cuff unturned

Chest:  42” around, taken under the arms, unstretched

Bottom:  40”  around, unstretched

Overall length:  30”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam to the hemline

Condition:  This vintage NWT acrylic cardigan is unused with no wear, tear, soiling or staining.
