1970s Vintage Crombie Overcoat Navy Blue Wool Coat Date 1975

This is a vintage Crombie overcoat that was tailor made in Canada using Scottish Crombie pure new wool in a navy blue colour.  This vintage Crombie overcoat has high set wide notched lapels and does up with three buttons at the front.  There is a flapped pocket at either side.  The shoulders are squared and padded and the sleeves have two buttons at each cuff.  This vintage Crombie overcoat has a 16” kick vent at the back and the coat is lined in a blue satin fabric.

Tailor’s label:  Creation Lou Carlo Delmonte Tailor
Union label: ACWA - Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America.  This version was in use from 1962 until 1976 and is designated as a “Special Order” for Victor Zicha and dated 16/12/75.  Victor Zicha was the president of the Canadian Czechoslovak Association.
Sizing: No size is indicated on this vintage Crombie overcoat as it was custom tailored, but it should fit an extra large, probably a 2XL or a 3XL - please rely on the following measurements for fit, either comparing them to another coat that you may own or more should you wish to wear a suit jacket underneath this vintage overcoat:

Condition: This vintage Crombie overcoat is in excellent condition with no noted wear, tear, staining or odour, looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
