This is a striking vintage Sherman rhinestone necklace signed Sherman in a rectangular plaque on its end piece - the use of a script signature within a rectangle is purported to date the piece to the 1960s, but this, to me, looks like a late 50s or early 60s necklace.  The necklace is made in a rhinestone studded chain construction with navette and round rhinestone dangles hanging from the front.  The stones are all prong set opaque black and clear crystal.  Sherman used only Swarovski rhinestones - the stones on this necklace have lovely reflection and sparkle.   The necklace has a plated metal setting.  The necklace measures 16” long, laid out straight.  This vintage Sherman rhinestone necklace is in very good condition with no wear, scratching, replaced stones or repairs.
