Vintage 1930s Sequinned Jacket Black Sequins on Netting Sz S

$675.00

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is a gorgeous 1930s sequinned jacket!  The piece is fully covered in hand sewn sequins.  The sequins have a lustre to them that you don’t see with modern mylar sequins - they are highly reflective.  This 1930s sequinned jacket has a wide shawl collar, 3/4 length sleeves, rounded cutaway opening and no closures except for two ties - you secure the piece under the bust by tying the ties together (see photos).  This jacket may have had an accompanying dress, but most likely it was made to accessorize any suitable dress.

Label: None.  Pieces of this age and type were typically made in France, and the quality of this one is such that it may have been made by one of the Paris fashion houses.

Material: Cotton netting and sequins

Sizing: There is no size label on this 1930s sequinned jacket, and although I think that it should fit a small size, please note the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves:  21” long

Sleeve inseam:  14 1/2”

This is a stunning 1930s sequinned jacket - easy to use with a plain evening dress, make an entrance, sparkling in the lights!
