Vintage 1950s Party Dress Beaded Velvet w Taffeta Skirt Sz M

This is a vintage 1950s party dress featuring a beaded velvet bodice and a taffeta skirt.  This vintage 1950s party dress is sleeveless, with a scoop neckline and full cut black taffeta skirt.  It is lined through the bodice and does up the back with a metal zipper.  The dress was posed with a crinoline to give the skirt a fuller look - no crinoline is supplied.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this vintage 1950s party dress should fit a woman that fits a size medium - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Bust: 36”, taken under the arm openings

Waist: 28” around

Hips: Full

Overall length: 39”, measured flat from the top of the shoulder strap to the hemline - there is a 6” hemline, so perhaps it could be lengthened, although I’m not sure if that would leave a fold mark.

Condition:  This dress is in very good condition - clean with no wear, tear or other defect.  This dress looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
