1970s Vintage Israeli Dress Hippie Chic Aviva Israel Size L

This is a 1970s vintage Israeli dress made under the Aviva label.  This vintage Israeli dress dress is made of a linen weave black fabric with woven trim and applied tassels.  It has a choker neck band and short V neckline. The dress is cut to fit somewhat loosely as it has a slight flare down to the hemline.  Note that I think that the dress may have been shortened as the hemline is unevenly finished. The dress is unlined and made in a mid-calf length.

Label: Aviva Made in Israel

Fabric:  no label, but feels like a blended fabric - has good weight and falls beautifully.  The woven trim feels synthetic, but I’m really not sure. 

Sizing:  No size is indicated, and although this vintage Israeli dress should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Neck:  16” around

Shoulders:  17” across between shoulder/sleeve seams

Sleeves:  25” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  18”

Bust:  39”

Waist: 40” around, meant to fall loosely

Hips:  46” around

Length: 45”, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage Israeli dress is in very clean condition with no signs of wear, tear, staining, soiling or odour.

Israeli fashion of the 60s and 70s was very chic, with labels such as Maskit, Aled and Rikma.  I haven’t been able to find anything on Aviva, but this vintage Israeli dress has a hippie chic vibe to it - the colours are bright and vivid on the trim and tassels, sure to be noticed!
