Vintage 70s Courreges Paris Intarsia Sweater Red White Sz S

This is a wonderful cotton and acrylic blend intarsia sweater made in France by Courreges Paris.  It features a red diamond pattern with red band accenting and V shaped neckline.  It has the Courreges logo embroidered in white script on the left breast area.  This intarsia sweater has short sleeves and is made in a pullover style. 

Age: 1970s

Label:  Courreges Paris Made in France.  Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s.

Fabric: 50% Cotton / 50% Acrylic

Sizing: Size 0 is indicated on this intarsia sweater, which is the Courreges size code for a US size 4/6 - please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Shoulders:  17” across to the outside of the red bands

Sleeves:  10 1/2” long from the outside of the red band

Bust:  36” around, unstretched

Waist:  27” around, unstretched, stretches out to 34” max

Length:  23 1/2” long, measured flat

Condition:  It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors, in fact, this intarsia sweater looks like it saw little, if any, use, and was very well cared for over the years.
