This is a lovely Swiss cotton and lace handkerchief, unused and still in its original box. The hankie still has its original foil label affixed to it, which reads “Made in Switzerland”. It is still folded in its original 50s/60s era cardboard box with plastic cover. It has a red bow affixed to it, but I assume that this is easily removed. It is difficult to measure because it is folded, but it appears to measure about 13” to 14” square and is in like-new condition - the only problem is a very tiny brownish stain at one corner (see last close-up photo). II can’t understand how that got there as the hankie was in a box, but I’m positive that this would come out - I can’t really treat it myself without taking it out of the box. This is a beautiful quality handkerchief with a lot of fine embroidery and lacework, suitable for use by a bride. Hard to find old unused lace hankies like this - beautiful Swiss quality!
