Vintage Patriotic Fabric Stars & Stripes Cotton 72x 46

This is a wonderful piece of vintage patriotic fabric made by the General Fabrics Company of Pawtucket, RI. The fabric is a medium weight cotton that is printed with a repeating star and stripes motif. The colours are red, white and blue. The fabric is unused and measures 46.5 in width, including one 1/2 selvedge (printed area of 46), with a length of 72. General Fabrics Company is printed in the selvedge - the lack of a copyright symbol tells me that this is older fabric. General Fabrics was founded in 1951 - my best guess is that this patriotic fabric dates to the 60s or 70s. I havent been able to find this particular pattern, so nice collectible fabric that could be used to make patriotic fabric face masks or to incorporate into a quilt or other use!
