Vintage Paragon Bone China Cup and Saucer Floral Spray Blue & Gold A 3974

This is a lovely cup and saucer set made by Paragon of England featuring a floral spray pattern, The pattern is on the interior cup and on the saucer, inset against a very pretty light blue background colour that is detailed in gold. The cup has a very attractive scalloped form that is edged in gold. The Paragon mark on the underside of each piece was used between 1960 and 1963. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear, but the saucer does have a bit of gold wear to the detail closest to the centre, rather minor. Both pieces ping beautifully when tapped. The saucer measures 5 3/8 in diameter while the cup measures 2 1/8 in height with a top diameter of 3 7/8. This is a lovely cabinet display cup and saucer, very pretty blue background colour with striking gold detail - wonderful addition to a collection!
