Vintage Chalkware Madonna & Child Jesus Plaster Wall Hanging 14

This is a vintage plaster wall hanging, aka chalkware, in the form of the Madonna holding Baby Jesus. The piece is handpainted and quite old - I would think that it dates to the 1950s, but possibly is a little older. The piece measures 14 high by 9 3/4 wide at its widest with a depth of 5. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks - this is either a small repair or flaking to the bottom underside (see last close-up photo), but this is really minor. It has a metal hook affixed to the top that allows for hanging on a wall. This is wonderful vintage religious wall decor - lovely depiction of the Virgin Mother and Child..
