Vintage Buchan Thistle Ware Shirred Egg Dish Scottish Stoneware 272

This is a thistle ware shirred egg dish made in Scotland by Buchan of Portobello. I have four of these offered for sale - price is for one only. These are hand painted, so there is a slight variation in the decoration from one dish to the other. Each piece is marked on its underside with Buchan Portobello Scotland Finest Stoneware Made in Scotland 272 and hand initialed by the artist. Each measures 6 1/2 across the handles by 5 and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Lovely quality.hard to find this particular dish..
