This is a thistle ware rectangular divided baker made in Scotland by Buchan of Portobello. The piece is marked on its underside with Buchan Portobello Scotland Finest Stoneware Made in Scotland 270 D 11 2 12 and hand initialed HT. It measures 8 1/2 by 11 with a height of 2. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - a bit of soiling on the underside, quite minor. Lovely quality.hard to find piece in this size, nice addition to a collection of this stoneware
